Ministry of Education has announced the availability of academic scholarships provided by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. These scholarships cover various specialisations and academic levels for the 2026 academic year. Interested candidates are requested to submit their inquiries and applications via email to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Muscat at chineseprogramforoman@gmail.com.

Applicants must ensure that their chosen academic institutions are accredited by the Ministry of Education in Oman. The Ministry has stipulated that programmes must be officially approved, and executive or professional programmes are not eligible. Furthermore, all chosen programmes must be full-time, and students are required to follow the Ministry’s electronic portal for final approval before commencing their studies. The deadline for submitting applications is May 25, 2026. Accepted students will be provided with coverage for travel, living expenses, tuition, research and project preparation, and excess baggage allowance.
