Kuwait’s education authorities are planning on the termination of 600 expatriate teachers, who are still deserted in a foreign country as per the travel restrictions introduced by the coronavirus outbreak.
This includes teachers of information and computer technology, decoration and Islamic education. The local newspaper states that these are subjects that can be educated to the students by local hires from Kuwaitis and other Gulf nationals.
The education sector has finalised assembling the names of the 600 teachers and will soon replace them with names of the locals.
