The British School of Bahrain (BSB) has been awarded the “Best in Employee Experience” accolade at the HRM Summit Middle East 2024. This marks the second consecutive year that the school has been recognised for its HR practices, following last year’s award for “Best Recruitment Process” for its Enhanced Safer Recruitment Programme.
The HRM Summit Middle East award ceremony brought together professionals and experts from multiple countries to celebrate excellence in human resources practices. BSB’s case study was the only selection in the “Best in Employee Experience” category.
The “Best Employee Experience” category is renowned for recognising initiatives that directly impact and contribute to the advancement and relevance of the HR industry.
“We are immensely proud of this recognition,” said Cherryl Castil, BSB’s Human Resources Manager. “This award affirms our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in employee experience across the board. It is a testament to our team’s hard work and commitment to excellence and the wellbeing of our community.”
BSB has been recognized as a destination workplace in Bahrain, with happy staff and record-low turnover for three consecutive years. Only 17 out of 181 staff have left, which amounts to just 9%—an achievement for international schools.
