Bahrain offers e-learning for visually impaired students

Bahrain has has provided distance education to visually impaired students in public schools and in the Saudi Bahraini Institute for the Blind, in an effort towards the sustainability of education for all during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Necessary measures have been implemented to ensure no student is left behind academically.

Measures include open communication and coordination with the Ministry of Education and HM King Hamad’s Project for Future Schools, to facilitate the activation and use of digital learning tools.

Students were provided with textbooks and electronic books. Elementary school students were provided with bags that can be used in the virtual art and physical education classes.
