The Education ministry will reopen registration for students, who have reached compulsary education age, for the next academic year 2024-2025.

The registration will be on 18-22 February 2024, Sunday – Thursday, in the Ministry of Education Hall in Isa Town, 8:00am – 1:00pm.

Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, said this aims to provide the opportunity for all students, who have reached compulsory education age, but missed the previous registration period.

The ministry had opened early registration for the next academic year last October. In previous years, registration was opened in the end of the school year.

The dates of these announcements have been restructured, with the aim of providing ample time for planning and preparing for the beginning of the next academic year, in addition to enabling guardians to register students early.

Dr. Juma affirmed the ministry’s keenness to ensure registration of students, who reached the age of compulsory education in public schools, sufficiently before the start of the next academic year.

The minister said that about 9,000 Bahraini children, born on January – December 2018, had been registered in government schools.
