Royal University for WomenLocation: Riffa
Royal University for Women (RUW) is the first private, purpose-built, international university in the Kingdom of Bahrain dedicated solely to educating women. The university’s main focus is on academic excellence and personal development. RUW’s initial degree programmes were designed in collaboration with two reputed universities, McGill University in Canada and Middlesex University in the U.K.
Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – BahrainLocation: Busaiteen
The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain, or RCSI Bahrain, is a constituent university of RCSI, which was established in Dublin, Ireland in 1784. RCSI Bahrain is a not-for-profit health sciences institution focused on education and research to drive positive change in all areas of human health worldwide.
The university is also focused on developing original research and development across the health and biomedical sciences in line with the requirements of the region.
The campus features a host of teaching spaces, laboratories, offices, a library, a restaurant, a dedicated student support centre and extensive sports and recreational facilities.
Kingdom UniversityLocation: Riffa
Kingdom University, one of the first private educational institutes in Bahrain offers Bachelor programs, a number of which boast continued accreditation of the ACCA. Kingdom University strives for excellence, innovation and inclusiveness.
The university provides courses from three colleges namely: College of Architecture, Engineering and Design, College of Business Administration, and College of Law.
Ahlia UniversityLocation: Gosi Complex, Exhibition Road
Established in 2001, Ahlia University was the first private University to be licensed by the Government of Bahrain. All the professional programmes offered by the university are recognised by Bahrain’s Higher Education Council as well as highly reputed and distinguished leading Universities in the UK and USA.
Bahrain PolytechnicLocation: Isa Town
Bahrain Polytechnic has been established by the Bahrain Government to address the need for a skilled Bahraini labour force, with the aim of supporting economic growth and diversification. The institute delivers applied, professional and technical qualifications.
Programmes, qualifications and courses, and the underlying methodology of how they are delivered are developed in consultation with businesses, industries, professions, international education and training institutions.
University of BahrainLocation: Sakhir
As the national university of Bahrain, the university has a mandate to lead the nation in terms of human capital development, leading innovation, contributing to economic development and leading society.

Applied Science UniversityLocation: Al Eker

Gulf University is a private university located in Sanad, Bahrain. The university was established on 17 September 2001, licensed by the Bahraini Ministry of Education. The university is also an officially licensed testing center for SAT, GRE, PMI.
Arab Open UniversityLocation: A’ali
Arab Open University employs open and blended educational systems. AOU’s first branch was established in Kuwait. Hence it was selected as Head Quarters in 2002, and then other branches followed—currently, in nine Arab countries.
The university offers courses through the following faculties: Faculty of Business Studies, Faculty of Computer Studies, and Faculty of Language Studies.
